Our topic this year is "How to Live in Modern Day Babylon as a Believer"!

In today's world, what are you doing to store up treasures in heaven? How are you occupying for the Kingdom of God while living in what feels like a modern day Babylon? As Christ followers, we are called to be salt and light in a dark world while advancing the Kingdom.

Meet the Conference Teachers

The key note speakers at the Rooted Conference 2023 are Dr. Laura Sanger, Jenny Mire, Lori Brazier and Amy Wood-Roper. 

Dr. Laura Sanger

Dr. Sanger is a Clinical Psychologist, an author, and a small business owner. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego as well as a M.A. in Theology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Sanger has experienced the miraculous hand of God in multiple ways, both as a child and as an adult. She believes in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the full activation of the gifts of the Spirit; she is a prophetic intercessor and spiritual warrior and is passionate about seeing people set free.

Jenny Mire

Jenny is the founder of The Rooted Truth, a Bible teacher, author, and encourager of women. She began writing and hosting online Bible studies in 2020 after slowly walking away from the fitness industry. With the prompting of the Lord, she used her entrepreneurial experience and heart for others to start The Rooted Truth. Her main passion is to help women get serious about reading the Bible and truly know their worth which is only found in Christ. Amy Wood-Roper

Amy has been a Christian and a student of the Bible for over 35 years, and has been Biblically guiding, teaching, and counseling people for over 20 years. Professionally, she received her Bachelor's Degree and Master's in Education, as well as is a 23-year veteran teacher and mentor to the younger generation. Amy has worked in the classroom and taught Bible studies both online and in churches across the world. She has experience in crisis training (suicide, depression, addiction etc) for those in need from Journey Church in CA, however, her calling is from the Lord, which she believe supersedes anything a university or other experience could give. She now offers Biblical Guidance Counseling and Coaching virtually.

Lori Brazier

Lori is also known as Remnant Rising on Instagram. She's a wife, mom, daughter of the Most High, and author. Although she grew up as a Christian, it wasn't until God pulled back the veil that she truly understood the truth of "let God be true, but every man a liar" and how it applies to absolutely everything. Lori is so grateful His truth endures to all generations and that He made a way for us to be part of His family. She has seen time and time again how His plan far exceeds our own as we trust and lean into Him! Past Retreats

our first ever retreat

Fall 2022 in Northern Idaho. 

We hosted 15 women from all over the country at our first ever retreat in September 2022. We ended the weekend with 7 baptisms in the lake!

second annual retreat

Spring 2023 in Phoeniz, AZ. 

We hosted our second retreat in April 2023. This time 40 women joined us from 16 different states! We had an amazing time and ended the weekend with 9 baptisms!

Our theme for the Spring Retreat 2023 was "Set Apart"

We dove into what it means to be set apart for the Lord, what it looks like in today’s culture, the fear of the Lord, and how we can truly live a holy life.
