Understanding Our Identity in Christ
As believers, we are called to find our worth, purpose, and security in Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if we are in Christ, we are a new creation.
But what does this mean in regards to our identity?
The importance of understanding and embracing our identity in Christ cannot be overstated. It forms the foundation upon which we build our relationships, make decisions, and navigate life's challenges.
How does the concept of being chosen and adopted into God's family influence the way you perceive your worth and purpose?
“and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:10
At times you might feel like you're incomplete or lacking in some areas. But the word complete in the Greek is plēroō and it means to render or make full, to cause to abound, and to bring into realization. Essentially, you are well supplied with the Spirit of God! Fully knowing this will shape your self-worth and help you view yourself in a new light.
Your old man died when you first believed in Jesus Christ! Now Christ lives in you and the life you now live—you live by the faith in the Son of God.
Join us this fall as we dig into our identity in Christ.
We will answer the questions:
How does understanding who I am in Christ change how I think and behave?
What differences have I witnessed from how the old me would respond or act versus the new me?
What things do I need to change in my life to better reflect who I am in Jesus?
What does "your life is hidden with Christ in God" really mean?

The Rooted Retreat Fall 2024
Thursday — Sept 12, 2024
Check-in begins at 3pm ET on Thursday. We will have a small dessert social on Thursday night. (Note: you will need to arrange transportation to/from the airport to/from the retreat)
Friday + Saturday — Sept 13 + 14, 2024
We will begin our teaching on Friday morning at 9am ET with 2 full days of digging into God's Word, quiet time, and fellowship.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks will be included.
Dinner will be on your own each night however we can and will still go out as a group if that's what everyone wants! Or Door Dash food in!
Sunday — Sept 15, 2024
Checkout will be by 10am ET on Sunday — no late exceptions
Where will we be staying?
Located right outside of Tampa, FL (just 30 minute drive from the airport), we will be staying at a private property nestled on the lake (close to the ocean) with a four-plex dwelling. Each with a couple of bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom.

our first ever retreat
Fall 2022 in Northern Idaho.
We hosted 15 women from all over the country at our first ever retreat in September 2022. We ended the weekend with 7 baptisms in the lake!

Spring 2023 in Phoeniz, AZ.
We hosted our second retreat in April 2023. This time 40 women joined us from 16 different states! We had an amazing time and ended the weekend with 9 baptisms!
